Bassoon Teacher

As a passionate teacher, Charlotte offers bassoon lessons on Zoom or in person in Malmö. She has extensive teaching experience, both privately and in New Zealand and Sweden. She has studied pedagogy in New Zealand and Sweden, and has done important research in the area of performance anxiety with a lecture entitled “Learning by Ear: Its Place in Classical Music” during her masters studies at Musikhögskolan i Malmö.

With this pedagogical background, Charlotte teaches bassoon students of all levels, using a variety of creative pedagogical techniques. She believes in helping students ‘learn how to learn’, not just to learn the technique of playing the bassoon, but to have skills and confidence to be well rounded, creative and versatile musicians.
